The next morning I waited patiently for my Aunt to say “Come on, let’s get you out of that nappy.” She said these same nine words every morning and since my nappy is wet every morning, it’s music to my ears. I perform the ritual of pulling out my changing mat and putting the bumper pack of baby wipes alongside it. I remove my frilly lilac baby doll nightie and place it on my bed, before removing the matching frilly over knickers.
