[B][U]Chapter 26: Kye

“Alright, that’s freaky!” Someone in the crowd of students commented.

“Tell me about it!” Said another.

The brick was obviously from one of the displays outside, a JROTC built monument built out of bricks and stones. It wasn’t there for any particular reason except to make the school seem more beautiful, or more intriguing I suppose. But obviously enough, the intriguing bits of the day were only just beginning.

Jacob and I were startled as we went back into the room and heard the bell. But, it wasn’t the bell. Instead, random bits of music all jumbled together began to blast from the announcement speakers. There were no morning announcement this September day, only questions. The security guards were dealing with the mess outside, while Jacob and I walked to our next class. K had followed us for a bit, but soon disappeared into the crowd of people.

“The oldest letter in the alphabet… it doesn’t make sense.” Jacob thought aloud, puzzled by the perplexing question at hand. What did it all mean?

“I dunno, it’s weird. I bet it’s just some prank though. The security cameras probably recorded the whole thing. Jacob stopped me at a corner, holding his arm out in front of my chest. We were in a dimly populated hallway, with only a few students passing along their merry ways. He put his ear near the corner of the wall, and I leaned in closer.

“The damn cameras are out Ron! Those punks must have got into the system!”

“But wouldn’t they need direct access?”

“No, only a link up with the school system and some damn good hacking skills. We JUST GOT that new security system; it’s top of the line!” We heard from two security guards. I don’t know how Jacob knew that they were there, but he did; and we learned a valuable clue. Whoever it was knew how to hack, and they obviously liked making things a mystery for us. They’d gotten into all the school systems as it would seem. The security guards then began to walk, passing us as Jacob leaned up against me on the wall to cover my face. He smiled, and then twisted away from me so I could move again.

“Let’s not be late.” He chided. We darted off to our next class, and again got a similar lecture as we had from the previous class. The day continued with nothing interesting directly effecting myself and Jacob. Only rumors of bathroom stalls acting funny, and security guards tripping over themselves trying to figure out what the hell was going on.

We eventually arrived at the midpoint of the day, lunch. Jacob and I walked in, hungry as we could possibly be. We walked up to the usual lunch line, and got ourselves something to eat. Today just felt like a pizza day, and Jacob seemed to agree. We took our food and walked around for a few seconds, looking for a good place to sit. Then I realized something. Rebecca was there. Sitting at a table, along with her friends. I looked at Jacob, and he looked at me.

“Do you think I… do you think I should talk to her?”

“You know what might happen if you do.” He stated coldly, but assuring me of the possible dire consequences. It was a tough choice. Do I talk to her? Do I try and see if she hates me, or if she also wanted to talk? Then it hit me.

“Uh, Jacob? Nurses office, now.” I commanded. He nodded and we began to walk out of the cafeteria. Over the summer, I’d begun working to retrain at the very least, my bowels. Wetting myself was okay, so long as I drank more water than anything else so it wouldn’t smell; but having a messy accident in school was not an action that I was prepared to let reign upon the rest of my school life! We started to walk out of the cafeteria.

“Hey! You two! Stop!” We heard.

“Crap.” I muttered. We turned and saw a rather hefty security guard striding towards us.

“You two, where’re you going?” He questioned.

“The nurse’s office. Our names are Tristian and Jacob Hawk. We can’t really stop and talk so if you want to call her yourself and ask; we DO have a medical pass to go there whenever we need.” I replied. I had simply told him off in a respectful manner, about faced, and walked away with Jacob in tow. In only a few months, I’d be able to revive some of my rectums power. I wasn’t able to hold it for long, but long enough to make it to the nurse’s office without fully having an accident. I strode in with Jacob in tow, and waved to the nurse. “Sorry, be out in a few can’t talk bye!” I stammered, trying my hardest to walk fast into the separate room within the nurse’s office. She wasn’t able to say anything due to the fact that we had come right in, and shut the door behind us. We were in an all too familiar room, with a few cots around and a large pantry of medications near us. I kneeled down, trying to search my backpack for my personal key to the cabinet that held both mine, and Jacob’s diapers. “Shit…” I sputtered, feeling a warm mass escape into the back of my diaper. I teared some but said nothing.

Jacob though, had noticed my accident, even though my jeans covered my entire diaper area without any indication I was padded. “Tristian, I think I have your key in my backpack. Don’t worry, just lay down on the cot and we’ll get this fixed up.” He assured me. I couldn’t help but simply obey his request, standing up and walking over to a cot and lying down, trying my hardest not to move the mess around too much.

“This, is the only part I hate about being incontinent.” I thought aloud. “Otherwise, I wouldn’t mind it too much.”

“Maybe baby should be potty trained now?” He asked, digging through his backpack till he found a small hoop with several keys attached.

“Maybe. I don’t know.” I sighed. “I’m just glad we’ve been taking those chlorophyll pills though. At least then it won’t smell.” I detailed quietly. Though I was talking softly, I didn’t exactly need to. The room itself was soundproofed, and the door didn’t have any windows on it. No one could see us, or hear us in here.

Jacob took the keys and unlocked a cabinet, grabbing at one of the unopened packages. “Well. These should hold you for the rest of the day. Luckily, I think I’m dry though.” He proudly stated, sticking one of his fingers into the front waistband of his pants, obviously checking the status of his diaper. He grabbed some wipes, some powder and a bit of what looked to be vaseline. He came over, and slid down my pants carefully. He quickly went to work changing me, not even letting me lift up my own legs to help him. It seemed that he just wanted me to be his diaper boy today. I wasn’t going to deny him this luxury. If I was to live for anything, it would be to make Jacob happy. That’s exactly what I planned to do.

After the change, he tossed out the soiled diaper and put my pants back on for me. “There, all better right?”

“Y-yeah Jacob.” I blushed. He smiled and made sure that my shirt was covering my diaper area.

“Alright, let’s go deal with the nurse now.” He sighed. We walked out of the room and shut the door behind us; having obviously locked up the cabinet that had been holding our diapers. The nurse smiled.

“Hi boys! How was your summer?”

“It was good.” Jacob replied.

“Yeah, nothing too special. Just boredom.” I added in.

“Ah, yes. The summer killer boredom, how I do know him well!” She teased. “It seems that this school year though, you boys won’t have any trouble finding things to interest you!” She joked.

“Yeah, I guess you’re right. Oh crap!” Jacob quickly stammered. “Tristian, run back in there and get my backpack for me please! I forgot it!” He stated. I sighed.

“Alright I guess.” I said nonchalantly. I strode back into the room and grabbed Jacob’s backpack; my own sitting upon my own back. I lifted it up and grunted, walking back over to Jacob and shutting the door behind me.

“This thing is filled with bricks!” I exaggerated.

“No, just textbooks! It’s just heavier to you because you’re carrying both of our bags!” He explained. “Chances are it’s that huge history text-book we got! Global 11, sheesh!” He joked, flailing his arms up into the air, causing the nurse to giggle.

“You boys are too much!” She said between fits of laughter. Luckily, nobody else was in there to give us dirty looks or make comments about how silly we were acting.

“I mean, LOOK at this!” He said, grabbing his backpack from me and opening it. He pulled out the history 11 text book. Flipping to a random page, he began to make fun of its content.

“The oldest civilization to have a written language!” He said, trying to act as sarcastic and snobbish as possible. Then it hit me.

“Jacob, come on; let’s get back to lunch.” I said, pulling on his shirt. “Alright, I guess we can go.” He stated, putting his backpack on and grabbing our trays from a table he’d set them down on.

We walked out of the nurse’s office, and I looked up at Jacob. “Drop the food off in a garbage can and meet me in the library. I have an idea.” I said ominously.

“You know, you always seem to have some crazy idea on what to do. Is this about the weird stuff going on in the school?” He asked. I could only reply with a nod. “I think I know how to solve this little mystery.”

We parted ways for a few minutes as I walked into the library. I signed in and quickly darted over to the history section of the library, located on its second floor. “Let’s see… No, no no no… no… There.” I mumbled softly. I pulled out a book and brought it over to a nearby table. I opened it up and began to look through it, scanning each page until I was tapped on the shoulder by my white haired lover.

“So, find what you’re looking for?” He asked.

“I think so… there.” I said, pointing to a picture in the book. It looked like an odd ‘X’ with a curve in it. “Kye. It’s sometimes pronounced ‘key.’ It’s part of the oldest alphabet in the world; the Mesopotamian’s. I remember hearing it in some game or show or something along those lines. It has to do with that letter!” I stated.

“That’s… actually really smart thinking. But, how? How can some ancient letter from a dead language help us now? We can’t go searching the school for the letter kye! It isn’t going to happen!” He explained.

“No, that’s not what it means. I think it’s a literal interpretation. There’s an actual key, which has something to do with the letter ‘kye.’” Look through every book here about Mesopotamia!” I whispered loudly. And so, we looked and looked and looked until we finally found a key, within a nearly ancient text book in a page about the letter ‘kye’ and it’s significance to the world. But… I’d seen this key before. I knew it from somewhere. I swiped it up, and looked at it diligently.

“It’s a copy… I think I know what’s going on in this school.”
