So we’d been stranded an extra day in the small town due to our car and due to the part we needed not arriving when we were told it would. That sort of stuff happens right? However, what happened when John and Mom went to pay for the repairs would have NEVER happened back in Chula Vista.
The guy who had towed our car turned out to be the owner and felt so bad about everything that he would not charge my parents for the repair. He didn’t even want to charge for the new part, but John insisted so much that the owner guy relented.
