He then noticed that nearly every inch of flooring in my room was covered with dirty clothes, a spent diaper or two from the previous days I’d spent in solitude, and a few scraps of paper here and there. I had not had a chance to clean up my room since before my friends Joey and Jacquelyn had been here, which seems like a lot longer than it actually has been.
