Scene 1:
Scene 2: A couple of hours later another patient arrived at the Injury Clinic in Macon, Georgia. His name is Bruce Barrington, Dr. Maria Sanchez is examining Bruce. He was hiking and slipped, Bruce fell down the side of a steep hill.
“You have multiple injuries Bruce,” Dr. Sanchez said, “I have X-rayed your left knee, right arm, and your neck for any breaks.”
“I slipped but the hill I was hiking on is steep,” Bruce said, “I hope nothing is broken.” “Lucky for me I rolled down only half way when some bushes stopped me.”
“You do have injuries Bruce but no breaks,” Dr. Sanchez said, “You will need bandages and a neck brace.” “I will call you Shamrock for good luck.” “You are lucky the bushes stopped your tumbling down the hill.”
Shamrock is very lucky to not have any broken bones. He sprained his left knee badly. Shamrock sprained his right wrist during the fall. His neck was also sprained from tumbling downward. Nurse Betty is called to admit Shamrock to room 202 in the Pediatrics Ward. The rooms are more like a bedroom than hospital room.
“Hello Bruce or should I say Shamrock since you were lucky to not be injured more seriously,” Betty said, “I will bandage your injuries.”
Shamrock is diapered in his bed like the rules state. He arrived in a girl’s shirt and flowered panties. Shamrock also has long blond hair. Betty noticed that the last 2 male patients are sissies. Shamrock did not complain about the diaper.
A foam c-collar is put around Shamrock’s neck to stop most movement. His left knee is put in a brace so it is motionless. Nurse Betty bandaged up Shamrock’s right wrist and forearm. Shamrock was in pain and given an injection. Shamrock is upset but will soon be more relaxed. Nurse Stacy is on the job and made a chart for both Butch and Shamrock.
Scene 3: The Injury Clinic has patient friendly rooms much like a bedroom in a home. Pediatrics is this way except of course any young children sleep in a crib. Those patients are not in the isolated wing for adults. Nurse Stacy visits both patients and hangs their chart at the foot of their bed. She notes diapers required and bedrest.
“Hello Butch, I am Nurse Stacy,” she said, “I see Nurse Betty did a fine job of bandaging your injuries.” “The diaper is clinic policy Baby Butch so no complaints.”
“Yes mamm, I don’t mind being put back in diapers,” Baby Butch said. “I am feeling the pain medication and it helps but makes me drowsy.”
Nurse Stacy sees that Nurse Betty used their best adult diaper. Baby Butch is wearing an Abena M4 which is very absorbent. He looks cute diapered up wearing a pink girl’s t-shirt. It is late afternoon at the Injury Clinic. Dinner will be served around 6 pm.
“I have another new patient to check on we call Shamrock,” Nurse Stacy said, “Just push the button if you need a diaper change.”
Nurse Stacy goes right next door to Shamrocks room. She introduces herself and notices Shamrock has multiple injuries. Nurse Stacy finishes the medical chart for Shamrock.
“Nurse Betty has been busy this afternoon,” Nurse Stacy said, “I see she bandaged and braced your injuries.”
“Yes mamm, and she put this diaper on me,” Shamrock said, “I am confined to bed.”
“Diapers are clinic policy especially since you are in Pediatrics Ward,” Nurse Stacy explained, “no complaints about the diaper please.”
“I don’t mind the diaper Nurse Stacy,” Shamrock said, “I am diapered up and bandaged for my injuries.”
Nurse Stacy hangs the updated chart at the foot of Shamrock’s bed. She notices Shamrock is a bit drowsy like Baby Butch was. Nurse Stacy explains that dinner will be served around 6 pm.
“Get a couple of hours of sleep and I will be back at dinner time,” Nurse Stacy instructs Shamrock before leaving his room.
Nurse Stacy joins Nurse Betty in the break room and they talk. Vending machines have sandwiches and other things to eat. There is a microwave to heat food. Cold sodas are in other vending machines. Both nurses have a small meal and a soda.
“My first new admitted patient this afternoon was Butch,” Nurse Betty said, “he arrived in a pink girl’s shirt and was wearing pink panties.”
“I noticed the shirt and that Baby Butch was in a diaper,” Nurse Stacy replied, “I am surprised to know he arrived in pink panties.”
“My second new admitted patient this afternoon was Bruce,” Nurse Betty said, “He was wearing a girl’s shirt too and flowered panties.”
“I did notice the sissy shirt and a feminine male,” Nurse Stacy replied, “I am surprised to hear he arrived in panties too.” “Shamrock appears to like his diapers.”
Today is the first time 2 sissy patients were admitted in one day. The nurses feel the names Baby Butch and Shamrock are perfect for the new admitted patients. They giggle a bit about the fact both patients arrived in panties and seem to love their diapers.
“I hate to see 2 middle aged patients ending up injured,” Nurse Betty stated, “at least things are not worse than they are.”
“Yes both will be fine with bed rest and some time to heal,” Nurse Stacy added, “we will have diapers to change later and patients to feed.”
“Good thing the clinic uses quality adult diapers,” Nurse Betty said.
Scene 4: Nurse Betty and Nurse Stacy both go to check on Baby Butch. He is sleeping in his room and bandaged for his injuries. While sleeping Baby Butch wet his diaper. He did not try to get up and use the toilet being confined to bed rest. Baby Butch did not mind, he loves wearing diapers. The nurses speak up so Baby Butch wakes up.
“Hello Baby Butch, we are here to get you up in your bed and ready for dinner,” Nurse Betty said, “Do you need a diaper change?”
“Yes I guess I am wet and need my diaper changed,” Baby Butch said still feeling sleepy. “I am feeling hungry too.”
Both Nurse Betty and Nurse Stacy take the blanket down so they can change Baby Butch. The air conditioning makes the room cold so a blanket is needed. Nurse Betty gets a clean M4 disposable diaper with a plastic outside. Nurse Stacy gets diaper rash cream and baby powder.
“No panties for you just diapers,” Nurse Stacy teased untaping the M4.
“I will clean your diaper area,” Nurse Betty said using adult wipes.
The wet diaper is disposed of and Baby Butch prepped for a clean diaper. Being bandaged up for 2 injuries Baby Butch has trouble lifting his bottom. Nurse Stacy helps while Nurse Betty slips a diaper in place. The front of the diaper is pulled up between Baby Butch’s legs and taped on snugly by both nurses.
“There you go Baby Butch, you are in a clean diaper and ready to be fed dinner,” Nurse Betty said.
Not long after Baby Butch is diaper changed the dinner has arrived. A lady brings it in the room and sets the dinner on a stand. Nurse Betty spoon feeds Baby Butch some beef stew with vegetables. A bib is tied around his neck for this. The beef stew is delicious and Baby Butch is hungry. The Injury Clinic takes good care of their patients.
After taking care of Baby Butch Nurse Betty and Nurse Stacy go to Shamrock’s room. He is also asleep mainly from the medication. Shamrock woke up once and wet his diaper being confined to bed. Shamrock went back to sleep afterward.
“Wake up Shamrock,” Nurse Stacy said, “we are here to feed you.”
“Hello, I am awake now and dinner would be great,” Shamrock said.
“Do you need a diaper change first Shamrock?” Nurse Betty asked.
Shamrock remembers he is wet and needs a diaper change. He is a diaper lover but a bit shy. Blushing a bit Shamrock tells the nurses his diaper needs changing before dinner.
“Yes I am wet and need my diaper changed,” Shamrock spoke up.
“We will take good care of you Shamrock,” Nurse Stacy told him.
The blanket is lowered so Shamrock can be changed in bed. Nurse Stacy untapes his very thick diaper. The diaper goes in the diaper pail while Nurse Betty opens up a clean diaper. Shamrock is bandaged and braced in 3 places, he can’t lift his bottom. Nurse Stacy helps Shamrock lift while Nurse Betty slips the diaper in place.
Both nurses pull up the front of Shamrock’s diaper between his legs. They fasten the diaper starting with the bottom tapes. The top tapes are fastened next making a snug fitting diaper. Shamrock is a diaper lover and has no complaints.
“Supper is here,” Nurse Stacy said, “you are having beef stew.”
Shamrock is assisted to sit up in bed. A bib is tied around his neck to protect his cute shirt. Nurse Stacy spoon feeds Shamrock the beef stew with vegetables. He is hungry after the traumatic fall earlier today.
Baby Butch and Shamrock are later given baby bottles of formula.
Scene 5: Baby Butch and Shamrock have televisions in their rooms with remote control. A call button is within reach for any emergencies or when a diaper change is needed. Earlier around 7 pm both Baby Butch and Shamrock were brought a baby bottle of formula. They were a bit surprised by this but nursed down the warm formula without any complaints. It is 9 pm now and Nurse Betty is on the job.
“Hello Baby Butch, you need cold water to stay hydrated,” Nurse Betty said giving Baby Butch a 12 ounce baby bottle of cold water.
“Thanks I am thirsty and need the water,” Baby Butch replied. “My diaper is still dry Nurse Betty.”
Nurse Betty goes over to Shamrocks room and finds him watching television. Shamrock smiles in spite of the bandages and braces. He notices Nurse Betty has a baby bottle of water. Shamrock is still in pain like Baby Butch is. Nurse Stacy is fixing their pain shots.
“Hello Shamrock, you need cold water to stay hydrated,” Nurse Betty said giving Shamrock a 12 ounce baby bottle of cold water.
“I appreciate the cold water to drink,” Shamrock said relaxing in bed.
Nurse Stacy arrives in Baby Butch’s room with his pain injection. She pulls up his short sleeve and put the shot in the upper arm. Butch is in pain again and glad to have the shot. He likes both nurses and thinks they are pretty.
“I will feel much better in about 20 minutes,” Baby Butch said smiling.
Nurse Stacy grabs the empty baby bottle and goes over to Shamrock’s room. She arrives as Nurse Betty is getting the baby bottle back empty. Shamrock’s short sleeve is rolled up for his injection. A shot is given in Shamrock’s upper arm. He will feel better shortly.
“I needed that shot and I hope it lasts for hours,” Shamrock spoke up.
Nurse Betty takes both empty baby bottles back to the kitchen. Nurse Betty goes to supply and grabs a large stock of Abena M4 diapers for the new injury patients. She takes them to each room and stacks them in a large box. These are some of the best adult diapers available.
Baby Butch watches Nurse Betty do her job. Today is Saturday and there is plenty of good programs on television Saturday night. Baby Butch has tuned in an old episode of Gunsmoke. He is propped up in bed to make watching television easier.
Nurse Betty goes to Shamrock’s room next and stocks up the M4 diapers. Both rooms have a diaper pail for soiled diapers. A table is close by with diaper rash cream and baby powder. Those are always used to prevent any diaper rash. Shamrock is watching television.
“What are you watching sweetie,” Nurse Betty asked with a smile.
“I am watching Magnum PI which is a show I like,” Shamrock said.
Nurse Betty makes sure Shamrock is propped up in bed with pillows to watch television. Nurse Betty and Nurse Stacy put in a lot of hours at the Injury Clinic. A second shift of nurse’s work from midnight to 8 am. They are student nurses who are training for overnight duty.
“I will be back at 11 pm to change your diaper for overnight,” Nurse Betty said, “I have a patient called Baby Butch in the next room.”
Nurse Betty tells Shamrock about Baby Butch and how he was injured in a car accident. She mentions how Baby Butch arrived in panties just like Shamrock did. Shamrock blushes knowing he was in panties when out hiking on the hill.
Nurse Betty stops by to see Baby Butch again and tells him about Shamrock. She remembers to mention Shamrock arrived in panties too. Both Baby Butch and Shamrock appear to be happy back in diapers.
Scene 6: As their last duty for the day Nurse Betty and Nurse Stacy go to Baby Butch’s room. He is still propped up in bed but sleeping. Nurse Betty and Nurse Stacy help him lay down which wakes up Baby Butch.
“We are here to check your diaper,” Nurse Betty said noticing the wetness indicators are showing. “You need a diaper change.”
The nurses work as a team and remove the wet diaper. It is placed in the diaper pail. Nurse Betty cleans Baby Butch with baby wipes. Nurse Stacy rubs the diaper rash cream on Baby Butch’s diaper area. He would likely be excited if not drowsy from the medication.
Nurse Stacy helps Baby Butch lift his bottom and Nurse Betty slips a clean diaper in place. The front of the diaper is pulled up between his legs and taped on tightly by both nurses. Nurse Stacy has another baby bottle of warm formula to help Baby Butch sleep. He does not know a laxative stool softener was added to the bottle.
“Drink this up and get a good night’s sleep,” Nurse Stacy said.
The pretty nurses shut off the television and the lights. Baby Butch is left to fall asleep and the night shift will check on him later. Both nurses go over to Shamrock’s room. He is also asleep propped up in bed.
Nurse Betty and Nurse Stacy assist Shamrock in laying down in the bed. He wakes up and is surprised for a minute. Shamrock realizes he is wet and needs changing. His wetness indicator is showing too. Nurse Stacy removes the wet diaper. Nurse Stacy cleans Shamrock with baby wipes. Nurse Betty rubs in the diaper rash cream and uses baby powder.
“I bet you would like this more if not drowsy from the pain shot,” Nurse Betty said teasing Shamrock.
Nurse Stacy helps Shamrock lift his bottom while Nurse Betty slips a clean diaper in place. The diaper is pulled up between his legs.
Both nurses tape on the diaper and make if fit snug to prevent any leaks. Nurse Stacy gives Shamrock a baby bottle of warm formula to drink and help him sleep. His baby bottle also has a laxative and stool softener added. The television is shut off and so is light by the bed.
“We have a night shift of 2 student nurses,” Nurse Betty said, “they will check on you overnight.”
Nurse Betty and Nurse Stacy go together and clock out for the day. They know the overnight nurses need experience changing messy diapers as well as wet diapers. They will get more experience with that later in their shift. Baby Butch and Shamrock will have a poopy diaper to change long before morning.
Not long after Nurse Betty and Nurse Stacy leave the student nurses arrive and clock in for the overnight shift. Student Nurse Missy is on the job at age 19. Student Nurse Dawn is on the job at age 19. The nurses are young but are half way thru their 2 year training program. Working at the Injury Clinic is part of their paid on the job training.
There is a nurse’s area where Missy and Dawn report to work. They are alone but have an emergency number to call if needed. A doctor can be on the job quickly if needed. The rest of the small clinic and hospital is well stocked with medical doctors and nurses.
“I see here by the records that 2 new patients were admitted today for injuries,” Student Nurse Missy said. “They were put in Pediatrics due to a shortage of beds.”
“I bet the adult patients are in a diaper for sure,” Student Nurse Dawn replied, “that is the policy when admitted to Pediatrics.”
“Yes and both are confined to bed,” Student Nurse Missy said, “They would have been put in a diaper anyway.” “Let’s review all the patients’ charts we have to take care of overnight.”
