We continued down the road for several more minutes before finally asking:

“So where should we have lunch before heading to the amusement park?”

“How about McDonald’s or something; I think I’ve seen one just around this area.” Amber replied, concentrating on the road signs passing by.

I briefly took my eyes off the road to check my rear view mirror that reflected the sleeping face of Lea; not even ten minutes into the car ride and she was out cold. Her curly hair slightly concealed her face, but even then, she looked to be in complete serenity.

Amber pointed to a Denny’s nearby, which I happily obliged to enter, rather then some cheap, morbidly grease-induced, fast food eatery.
