“I think I’ll let Lea pick a couple of her favorite toys from this pile and the rest will go to the orphanage.” She told me smugly. I laughed at her superiority in ball throwing and simply agreed with the idea for giving the toys back to the orphanage. Amber noticed the giant duck hung by the neck around Lea’s tiny arm. She attempted to take it from her so it could be placed in the cart with the other toys only to be denied of it in the process. Both Amber and I were taken by surprise when Lea wouldn’t put the toy down. I reassured her that it was only hers and then finally she decided to let go. For the mean time, Amber pulled out a small stuffed bear for the little girl to play with.
