I checked my watch to see just what time it was and how long I had before the imminent moment to have to leave Lea and see what Stephanie was planning for our date. It clicked 2:00 on the spot as I began to get up and place the little girl down onto the bed. I gave her another warm hug just before leaving and asked Amber to watch Lea while I was gone. She smiled and with a secure “Of course” as a reply, I was off.
I decided to head back home briefly to change into a more… tasteful outfit for going out. Stephanie called just as I began to spray myself down with some expensive fragrance given to me by a friend. I answered her call:
