Kimberly carefully lay Deedee down on the mattress and picked up her toy bunny from the foot of the crib. She put the bunny in Deedee’s arms to cuddle and reached in her pocket to get out one of the pacifiers she had placed there earlier. Then she popped the pacifier in Deedee’s mouth and covered her with one of the receiving blankets. Kimberly tucked her sister in gently before turning her attentions to Ron and tucking him in at the opposite end of the crib. She gave him the teddy bear to hold before she spread the old receiving blanket over his tiny body and tucked it in around his feet. Just before she left the cribside, Kimberly took the second pacifier from her pocket and put it in Ron’s mouth.
