“You didn’t know, did you?” Kylie asked, somewhat on edge. “That I liked girls.”
“No,” Megan answered. “Are you….”
“I’m bi,” Kylie answered. “But I’m leaning more towards that way. I had an experience with a guy a few years ago…. it didn’t go well.”
“I’m sorry.”
“I’m not.”
“No, I didn’t mean it like that.”
“Forget it. I shouldn’t have said anything.”
“Kylie,” Megan leveled. “This is no big deal. I just wanted to know why you didn’t tell me sooner.”
Kylie scoffed. “Because you would have freaked out on me.”
