Carrie shrugged. “Ricard’s a jerk and Jess can be a bit loopy sometimes, but I’ll manage.”

“Mom and Dad and I just aren’t getting along. We can use a break from each other.”
“Don’t you think you’re taking this a bit far?” Megan asked. “You’re 15. Name me one kid your age who actually DOES get along with their parents.”
