“It was an accident,” she replied, feeling both angry and embarrassed. How dare he question her and how dare she turn the tables like that? This was HER revenge, damnit!

Though she was sure Deanna was only saying it to hurt her, Megan knew there was truth to her words. It made it difficult for her to shrug them off and denounce them as lies. Worse yet, Ron was now watching her instead of Deanna.
