Chapter 1-

I don’t exactly remember everything from that day. i just wish it had never happened. My name is Jane and i am gifted and cursed. Up until my thirteenth birthday I was normal and lived like an other kid. But the day of my birthday something wasn’t right.

I woke up and was tired (normal), i went into the bathroom and took a shower (normal), and got dressed (as normal as normal can be). But none of my clothes looked good. I used to love my clothes but now they look too old for me for some reason.

I just picked some clothes and wore them. i walked downstairs and something didn’t look right. decorations were everywhere but they all lokked babyish. But I liked them and I let them stay.

A couple hours later the party started. All of my family was there and something about the excitement in their eyes scared me. I chatted and mostly everyone asked me “are you excited?” “Its my birthday so, like always, I’m excited!” I’d reply.

At cake time something would happen that would change me forever. The cake said “It’s Time.” That isn’t the strange part. All of a sudden the lights went out and i swirled into the air. A deep voice said “Jane your time has come. You now will have the power to control the minds of others and make psy-objects. But this gift come with the curse of childhood. You are forever to be a baby in an older and still growing body. You will have the mind of a teen and the personality of a baby.”

If I were to say that the landing was softly into the chair I’d be lying. I fell with a thunk. I got up and looked down at me and thought that I looked cute. Then I realized something. I was dressed as a baby.

All of a sudden I heard an alarm. I looked outside and saw a black moster traviling this way. The alarm was the siren of a police truck falling into our yard. This creature was about as tall the empire state building.

I got this sudden impulse to leap out the back door to fight this menace. I flew (using psy-wings) to the creature and shot out a beam of ice. It froze it for a second but then it turned into an inferno. Lucky for me my powers can control water. I made all the water from the pond in my backyard splash the creature. By doing this it died. Not like in the blink of an eye. It screamed in a deeper voice then the power giver one “I’m melting! Oh I’m melting! What a overworld!”

– Chapter 2-

I have been practicing and training for a month now and no trouble has befalled us since. I learned that all my current power were basic and that i can do some things that would make you pee your pants. Of course, since I just earned my powers I have no idea how to control them. i can start but they don’t work sometimes. Like this move where I imagine that the ground has a crack in it. The ground shakes and opens… then it just slams back together. But I digress.

As for the curse part the outfits are nice and all but wetting my self is getting annoying. My boyfriend calls all the time and I wish i could tell him and show him. But i’m afraid he would freak out on me and then i can’t get a new one. Thomas is his name and boy is he a hunk. I love him to death but he doesn’t like surprises.

One afternoon I’m relaxing on the porch behind my house and all of a sudden i hear a extremely loud bang and jump to action (impulse). I flew across town in a minute and no one saw me. I see a fairly big monster about the size of a four story building. I try a psy-blast first but it didn’t affect it. Then he swung at me. i flew down and around him. I through water and fire at him. Zero effect. i though if only i could trap him. I had only one move to do that. i closed my eyes and saw the ground split… and heard it smash together. Then i though what if i imagined it moving away it might work. so i tried it. I felt it working i heard silence then… AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!

The creature fell in and then I carefully returned the ground back to normal. I landed and looked around me. I saw into a window of a house… and there was Thomas sitting there back turned away from me. But what made me walk into the house was the outfit he was wearing. A light blue tee and … a diaper. I entered and said “Thomas, I think you should know something and don’t worry. This is our little secret.” He got up and said “Hun, i saw you out there. Are you an alien?” “No I’m just a human with super powers.” He kissed me.

We walked out behind his house and i noticed something. I said “What’s this?” and picked it up. I read it aloud. “‘Dear hero, I don’t like the fact that you keep killing my monsters. You are more skilled than your Grandmother so i can’t complaine. Just make sure that you stay out of my way. – J. Mall'”

Thomas said “I think you should do what the note says.” “Baby, come over here.” I replied with a sweet tone. He walked over and I smacked him on his padded butt.

-Chapter 3-

Thomas visits me every week and each time we talk about the paper. Today i’m visiting my Grandma with him. He’s such a sweetie that he even goes out in his baby clothes. Gram is a very active person so she still lives at home with my grandpa.

When we go to talk to Gram about the paper she is doing here daily walk on the treadmill. I start the conversation by saying “Hi Gram. How the workout?” “Simple as always.” “This is my boyfriend Thomas.” “Hi.” Thomas said shyly. “Hello there.” replys Gram. “Gram i think you have been hiding a secret from me. Did you also have my powers?” “Now what makes you think that?” “This” and I hold the paper up for her to read as she shuts off the treadmill. “J. Mall is back!?!? Why didn’t you tell me sooner!” She hopped off the machine and ran down the hall to her room. She opened her closet and pussed a pair of shoes into the floor.

Then the wall of her closet opened and she simple walked into a tech room. Thomas looked amazed. To me it was nothing special because Grandpa was a tech wizard. He made this stuff for a living. Gram turned to me and said “Jane. Time for your training to realy begin.”

– Chapter 4-

Life has been quiet. I practice with my gram each day at 3:00 sharp. Through practice i have mastered the ability to teleport. may not sound like much but trust me if you are surounded by a pack of monsters that would be the only escape method.

Thomas has learned how to handle gadgets my grandfather made. Tom managed to make it to level 4 of my grandfathers training in one day. “he’s a natural” my grandfather would tell me. I learned how to make monsters. Just look at the element you want them to arise from and your have instant helpers.

Tom has a alert system built into his game systems. A differant one for the level of danger. His handheld means low danger, the PS2 means medium danger, and the Wii… well lets pray that one never goes off.

Thomas did some reaserch and found 100 J. Malls. None live near us so i think our J. Mall is in hiding.

So me and Thomas are eating lunch at his house because my gram is on vaca for a week and suddenly the handheld went off. We flew (me carrying Thomas) to the problem and saw an army of ice monsters. I told thomas ” you take the small fries i’ll take the general.” I droped off at the edge of the crowds and flew over to the general who was a human on an ice horse.

I couldn’t see his face but i heard the voice through a speaker. “Jane. We finally meet. Do you like my army. Though they are low threat sepratley together they could make a wrestler scared. But they are harmless until then. Now lets stop talking and start fighting!”

He threw me a sword and i caught it with my psy-hand and he drew his and we fought. *clink* *clink* Our swords were evenly matched. But i caught him off gaurd when Thomas yelled “Back off fowl beasts!” I swung hit his helmet and it went flying. He shouted “form together minions.”

They all started melting and the puddles moved over to the center one and Suddenly they grew to an enormous size. Me and Thomas whould never be able to fight it because more minions appeared after every hit. Not even the sun melted this creature. “You’ll never defeat it. You would need the heat of the sun at about five feet away from this creature to make it melt.”

This gave me an idea. I turned to the sun and tried to conjure a monster. It worked and the creature was only as hot as the sun if you touched it! He just ran right at the ice monster and… Splash a flood appered and it healed the forest the ice monster chopped down. Man it was beautiful.
