“I don’t know why we got them in the first place,” I told her as I sat down on the bottom step, un-peeling the first, “but I saw that we still had a couple Strawberry Shortcake Band-Aids left, and this seemed like the perfect opportunity to use them.” I reached down, gently putting the bandage over the little scratch.
