Howard poked at his food in disgust. It wasn’t enough that she took away his coffee and replaced it with that damned kid’s drink, but she had replaced his usual breakfast of bacon and eggs with mush! If he hadn’t been so small, he would have slapped her! When Anita saw his dilatory explorations with his spoon, she told him waggishly, “Come on Howard! Eat your oatmeal. You need nutritious meals if you want to grow up big and strong.”
