This was probably nothing; but I wouldn’t have a baby crazy giant knowing my address.
“Rings, too?” Bruce asked. “Don’t want them to know we’re married.” Bert nodded and started fiddling with his own ring, twisting it off his finger.
I looked at my ring and pinched it on my finger. “We don’t know that there’s a ‘them’ in there.” I didn’t want to lose my ring in what was probably going to be a false alarm.
