Moving ahead to Saturday morning Joy walks in her son Tim’s bedroom at 9 am. He is still asleep when mother sees he wet the bed again. She pulls his blanket and sheets down.
“Get up Tim you wet the bed again last night,” Joy lectured, “now I have to wash your peed sheets and clothing again.”
“Sorry mom but I never knew this was happening,” Tim admitted, “I was dreaming when I woke up wetting the bed.”
“I told you yesterday that I have a solution for your problem,” Joy stated, “take a shower and I will fill you in on that.”
Embarrassed by wetting again Tim takes a morning shower and puts on clean briefs with brown shorts and a yellow t-shirt. He washes his hair again and shaves again. Tim is wondering what in the world mother has in mind to help with his bedwetting. Tim never even thinks of diapers at his age as a solution.
“Please take care of the wet mess in your brother’s room,” Joy told Sue, “one more time will be the last honey.”
“Ok mom, I am glad this will be the last time,” Sue answered.
At the breakfast table around 9:30 am Joy fills Tim in on her plans. Sue is also present to see her brother’s reaction. Mom started by telling Tim it is immature to be wetting the bed. Then Tim gets the shock of his adult life.
“I hired a diaper service for your bedwetting sweetie,” mom said, “I am tired of cleaning up things after your wet beds.”
“Diaper service?” “You must be kidding me mother,” Tim said.
“Mom is not kidding Tim,” Sue spoke up, “I babysit young adults with special needs and they have a diaper service.” “I gave mom their card, they are called Happy Nappy.”
“I am not happy!” Tim exclaimed, “I don’t need diapers either.”
“Sorry but my decision is final,” mother said firmly, “Stacy is coming over at 10 am this morning for a fitting.”
“What do you mean fitting?” Tim asked, “This is ridiculous.”
“You are going to be fitted in properly sized cloth diapers,” mother informed Tim, “then 2 bundles of nappies will be left in your correct size with plastic baby panties.”
Tim is not happy about this but has always obeyed mother. He objects again but Joy is not changing her plans. Joy points out that Tim lives at home and will do as he is told. She even said Tim was not too old to be spanked if needed.
“I suggest you cooperate with Stacy to avoid being spanked in front of the middle aged lady,” Joy said as the last word.
