She was sure she caught the young boy off-guard, but from caring for her own grandchildren who had moved across the country a few years ago, she knew that when boys had their little accidents, the best thing that can be done is to give them lots of tender loving care so they don’t feel so bad, and she knew exactly how to do that.
“Come on, hun,” she cooed to him, cradling as she went back to the door before making a sharp turn up the staircase. “Let’s get you all cleaned up.”
