Jessica came skipping into Kelly’s room one Sunday morning and jumped on her bed to wake her.

“Hiya sis!

Mornin!

Hey, you wanna go play at the park today?!

Please!

My friends and I wanna go and mommy said it’d be ok if you took us!”

She looked over at her clock.

It was just about to turn 8

She yawned.

“Jessica, how do you get up so early and have so much energy?”

Jessica just smiled,

“I’ve been up watching cartoons since 7.

Mommy said you used to be the same when you were little.

” Kelly realized that was true.

Where had her youthful energy and anticipation for a brand new day gone? She sighed.

“Alright little girl.

Get dressed and I’ll take you guys.”
