“I-It’s not that…” I was not really in the mood to argue so I let it go. Another friend of Stephanie’s seemed to notice the two of us holding hands and said:
“You guys definitely make a cute couple. I can bet something has already been put up in a bunch of crazy tabloids about you too!” She chirped.
“Well, it doesn’t really matter what rumors claim; I’ll only keep what’s true close to me, and that’s it.” I replied calmly while staring back at Stephanie.
“Eh, I guess.” The friend said rather unenthusiastically.
