Amber looked back at me, and I nodded an “Alright” for her to confirm her friend’s question. I guess I would’ve needed to pay in some way for Amber to accompany me to New York; it really was not a big deal either way.

“Yes… So are you in?”

“You bet, but just for you hon!”

“Awesome, so I’ll talk to you soon then.”

“Yup, later!”

Amber closed her phone slowly and brought about a joyful smile. I smiled back knowing that from everything that had not gone our way, at least something was now going well.

“Listen, I will make sure about the m-”

“Please, don’t worry about it Amber.” I said calmly interrupting her.

“I remember what you told me that day about Lea’s regression. It doesn’t matter to me what needs to be done to see Lea smile, I will accomplish it. I want to make her happy and I know you know the most out of anyone on how to do just that. So don’t worry about money right now Miss Amber. Just focus on making this little girl as comfy as possible.” I explained with a pat to Lea’s head.

Amber sighed and smiled, saying: “Thank you, I’m going to pay you back some day for this Mr. Soel.”

“That name sounds so… Old!” I said as we all laughed.
This plan has been set, but only time would tell now its true results. I knew that this upcoming week would be especially difficult to endure. With the help of Amber and Lea by my side, success was only a number of days away.
