And…” Bridget added slowly while shuffling through a packet of papers. “Ah yes, do you have any specific expectations for this child in long run if you do end up adopting her?” She added.

“Well, people I’m around know when to limit their ‘craziness’ around certain others, so I think they’ll be alright.”
The final question was what really stumped me in thought for a proper answer.

“My expectations of her… are to be happy.” I finally said firmly. The only thing I’ve ever wanted was to find happiness in another person. Whether it is a close friend, a significant other, or a child of my own; to share with that deserving someone all my joy was what I strived for..
