We immediately started laughing and continued talking about Lea all the rest of the date. As the sun began to set on our evening, I couldn’t help but think as to what Lea was currently doing. Over the past two weeks, I had never been so influenced and emotionally changed by a single person in such a small amount of time. This child made me feel so happy in ways that luxury, money, and adventure could never do. I so wished that I could take her home with me sooner, and make any desire she wished a reality; to always see a smile on little Lea’s face. I needed to be patient though. In less than three weeks time I would finally be able to have her in my arms, permanently.
