At the bottom of the stairs was the family room where he would sit with Sarah and aunt Theresa and watch television. From there he ventured into the dining room, remembering all of the wonderful meals that Theresa would prepare. Beyond the dining room was the kitchen. That is where aunt Theresa was, making snacks. Bobby froze at the sight of his aunt. The vision of her working in the kitchen brought back a flood of memories. All he could bring himself to do was sit at the counter and watch her in action.

The creaking of the chair startled Theresa and she turned to see Bobby gazing at her. She gave him a big smile.

“Can I get you a bottle of something baby?” She said completely from reflex. “I mean, can I get you something to drink, sweetie pie?”
