“How is the painting coming along,” asked Derek.
“It’s coming,” said Deborah.
“Well thanks for doing this Alison.” He turned to Ami. “And thank you Angela’s friend.”
“No problem,” said Ami. “I’m just happy to see Alison with someone. She had an unhappy experience a few weeks ago when a guy found about her…”
“Ami!” said Deborah. “Don’t go there.”
“I like her anyway,” said Derek. “Besides she can’t help it.”
