A knock sounded at the door. Deborah smiled and rushed to the door to answer it.
Ogre stood at the door. He looked a lot more friendly than he did when she met him in the forest. He wore a FedEx uniform and he held a package. “I have a package for Angela Murphy,” he said.
“That’s me,” said Deborah.
He handed her the package and she signed the clipboard he held. Deborah looked at Owl and Flower for any sign that the ruse had been discovered because Ogre didn’t have a FedEx computer handheld. None of them noticed. Ogre hurried away when Deborah signed it.
