“You don’t have to talk about it, but, well, maybe you should. Otherwise he’ll just get away with it.”
“I don’t need you to sort him out for me,” Ben was quick to say, “Mr Allen said he’ll punish everyone involved.”
“He also said you have to tell him who was involved. Everyone’s pretending they didn’t see anything, no-one wants to say they were there in case they get in trouble. If you don’t speak up no-one’s gonna do it for you, everyone’s just gonna be on Richard’s side, or even if they’re not they’re not going to say they’re not. No-one’s about to get on his bad side. And he landed you in hospital,”
