He looked up at the crib railing and realized with a soft groan that the crib had made it necessary for him to wear diapers. It didn’t matter that he could only crawl, he had no place to go. The railing was too high for him to scale and climb over after his mother went to sleep. He couldn’t have gotten out of his crib to use the potty if he had to pee during the night. If he needed to pee or poop, he’d have to do it in his diapers!
Thomas whimpered in frustration, hugging the teddy bear to his chest tightly to comfort himself as he whispered in quiet outrage, “Mama shouldn’t make me wear dydees! I’m not that little!”
