Carrie explained that she had been going through a lot of change lately……a truth that no one in the room would dispute. She then continued to say that she really wasn’t sure of who she was and that she felt inclined to try many new things in hopes of coming to develop some sort of understanding about herself.
“That is perfectly normal,” Nancy assured her.
“Then why are we fighting?”
Drew glared at her and she tensed up.
“I can’t do this,” she whimpered.
“Yes you can,” Megan encouraged.
Carrie went on to explain that she had had dreams in which she was tied up and smacked around a bit. She said she knew it seemed wrong, but she couldn’t stop thinking about it. The more she thought about it, the more appealing it became.
