Katy found herself crying standing on a towel in the corner. Millie had blistered her good for the cursing, and the mess in the kitchen. Katy knew she could stop Millie if she had wanted to. Then again she liked the idea of Millie coming with her. Katy had not taken care of herself for a long time.
Millie finished packing and then checked to see if Katy had packed everything. The thing she noticed was that Katy had packed no toys. Millie got a few of her favorites and packed them in her bags and put a coloring book crayons and Katy’s stuffed rabbit in the diaper bag.
She then removed Katy from the corner and took her to the changing table in the nursery.
