It wasn’t that she hated crowds, but given the choice between a crowd and being alone, she would prefer to be by herself. Still, she could handle it; the excitement of the upcoming movie more than made up for the minor discomfort that the congested building was giving her.
Hailey was even gladder now that she’d used the toilet at home; the women’s room apparently wasn’t any less crowded than the rest of the building, and it had a visible line coming out of it. A movie must have just let out, she suspected. But just because she’d gone at home didn’t mean Erin had, so Hailey asked, “Do you need to go to the bathroom before the movie?”
