Only when her bladder twinged partway through the movie did Erin realize that a few sips had turned into nearly half of Hailey’s drink. She knew that she should visit the toilet now before she forgot about her need to pee. If she suppressed the urge now, the next time it came back she could be in trouble. But she’d have to make people let her through to get out, and again when she came back. If they had been mad at her when she had come in with someone else before the movie started, they would have been furious with her when she alone disturbed them twice during the film. No, all she could do was ignore the urge, and enjoy the movie, and the need to pee didn’t come back before she could leave.
