He must have been about the same age then as she was now, so they obviously did make diapers for eleven-year-olds.
But did she actually want to wear them? There was an obvious stigma with diapers, they were something that only babies wore, but she’d never been one to let rational thought be overruled by popular opinion. As aunt Sue had said, they would make cleanup easier; if Sue and Hailey were going to insist on helping her clean up, the least she could do was make it easier for them. So she would be willing to wear them, she supposed.
Meanwhile, Sue and Hailey both took her question as an implication that it wasn’t normal for someone her age to wear diapers. Sue spoke first. “They do make them. I know it may feel like you’re the only one your age who wets the bed, but it’s something a lot of people your age do.”
