“So do you think we should change out of diapers now?” Erin was asking.
“I was just going to leave it on until I shower and get dressed,” Hailey replied. “No sense undressing to change myself when I’m going to undress again soon.”
Hailey’s logic made sense, so both girls trooped downstairs to get breakfast.
Sue found her girls eating cereal in their pajamas, which did very little to hide their padded bottoms. It was cute in an odd sort of way. Sue didn’t allow herself to smile about it, though. As cute as it was, the diapers were a necessity for Erin, and she didn’t want her niece to feel that she was being laughed at for wearing them.
“So, how did you sleep last night, Erin?” she queried.
