Who spanked you at home? How and to what age? Were you like me an only child?

I was spanked at home by mom’s boyfriend ( I have called him dad for this forum) he would put me across his lap once a twice a week and spank me with his hand form the age of eight to eleven but from the age of ten to eleven at times he had me bend over like in school for the slipper / rubber soled gym shoe of my kit bag at times if mum was around he would tap with it If she was not around it would STING like at school at times he would cane me with a school type cane he bought again most times he only tapped my bottom with it odd times he would swish it down..ouch

Well John I can understand why you bent over without question in school. Did he spank you across the bare bottom?

I was rarely spanked at home. My uncle (real one!) did it on my widowed mum’s behalf. Mum and I were very close. I don’t think she could bring herself to spank me but must have realised that like most boys back then my behaviour sometimes warranted a tanning.

I would guess that the majority of boy’s grammar schools in the 60s used the slipper and cane on a regular basis. My school tried to emulate the public schools in the area and part o0f the culture was of course corporal punishment applied to the backside of any boy who transgressed.

Firstly I’d like to say my uncle was a brilliant person. After my dad died my uncle, dad’s older brother, took my mum and me under his wing. He lived close by with his own family. Mum never spanked me herself. When I was about 8 I think I started playing mum up a bit. One evening my uncle came around and gave me a right good telling off.

Anyway after the telling off he told me that he was going to give me a tanning. Other boys in school often talked of being spanked at home. In a way I almost felt I missing out on it! I know I should have been scared but I liked my uncle and almost thought of getting a tanning as joining some sort of elite club. Mum left the room and he told me to stand at the end of our settee and to take my short trousers down. Then he said ‘Underpants too’. I was told to lay over the settee arm and he began to slap my bottom.

At first it seemed to be quite exciting, a new adventure. Then the sting began to build up as he continued to slap my bare bottom. he held me there with his other hand on my back and kept on slapping me. I soon realised what a tanning was really like. Then I was sent to bed with a sore bottom. Needless to say that was the first of many tannings for me.

Thanks for the reply six of the best it must have been a shock/surprise to you to be spanked on your bare bottom like that and the sting would build up,  Did you cry and what did mum say afterwards?.    When I was age eleven in the fourth form at junior school I was one of six boys to be made a junior prefect we were told we have to attend a training course after school and since we were to report boys for the slipper or the cane it was only fair we should be caned to know what it was like, It did not matter that we had all been slippered and caned in the past four years, The parents thought it was fair/good idea that we were caned first!.   We could chicken out but none did.  We attended the training course at the end he called us out by name one by one to touch our toes one by one four four of the best with Mr. H’s cane, all of us said ow each time the cane clicked across our bottoms we all cried after we were caned.  From a adult point of view what was four of the best to a eleven year old would be for taps to a fourteen year old.

I have never heard of a head caning prospective prefects so that they would know what it felt like.
Did this happen elsewhere or just in John’s school?
