I’m blowed if I can fathom out how to start a new thread (hopefully someone can remind me, so I’ve added the following report from this morning’s Metro, the free morning paper, on this thread. it is an article by Kelly Clarkson, headed “I’m not afraid to smack when my kids are playing up.” This is the gist of her admission.
“I’m not above spanking, which people aren’t necessarily into. I don’t mean like hitting her hard, I just mean spanking. I’m like ‘Hi, I’m gonna spank your bottom if you don’t stop right now. Like this is ridiculous.’ The tricky thing is when you’re out in public, because then people think that’s wrong. But I find nothing wrong with spanking. My parents spanked me, I did fine in life and I feel fine about it. I’m from the South y’all, so we get spankings.
