I’m surprised no-one else has mentioned it yet, but there is a certain chain of shops around called “Transformation” that are especially for girls like us.

If you walk in, then they already know why you are there, so there is no need to be embaressed.

There’s a shop in Manchester (as well as in Birmingham and London) which I’ve been to once while staying in the area overnight.

They are very friendly and you can get free coffee

I was at the Birmingham one on Monday.

I went in with the intention of finally getting myself some heels.

However, after chatting with the staff and getting a free fitting with all these wonderful clothes that put curves where they are supposed to be, I ended up forgetting about the shoes… well ok, I didn’t forget.

I spent WAY too much money instead.

Yes, they can be a little more expensive than your average high street retail store, but the atmosphere and ease of mind makes up for it
