This all echoes what I was told by my clinic which was the skin can be easily burned by the sun after treatment for up to a year so must wear sun cream even on cloudy days.

So perhaps this is where the skin cancer discussion and possible myth come from

it’s easier to burn from the sun if you don’t protect yourself, leading to skin cancers.

I just use a high-SPF moisturizer unless it’s very sunny.

But nothing is risk-free.

Just use a good quality clinic.
