Crossdressing: Hiding Clothing and Wigs

Question

Hi, I’m a young cd.

I had a wig, but I had to get rid of it because we’re moving soon, and I wanted to get my collection down as small as possible.

As a crossdresser, I am still very much in the closet.

If anyone knows any places that would be good to put my cross dressing things during the move I would love to hear them.

I am really worried about it because I don’t want anyone to find out.

Now onto my next point.

I really hate dressing without a wig because it just doesn’t look or feel right.

So I want a new one.

I need some advice on what’s good and what’s not.

I don’t work and therefore don’t have that much to spend.

I also need to buy some clothes too.

So really I wouldn’t want to spend more than £20 or £30 max.

I’ve found a wig on ebay that I really like:

However, it’s mega cheap so will it be really bad quality?

I don’t go out dressed and don’t cross-dress every day so it wouldn’t be worn an awful lot.

Should I take that in mind when choosing which one to buy?

Thanks, Hannah

Come on, grow your own hair!

It will still work at your age!

As for hiding stuff, when I was a younger, I kept some of my gear in the back of my old television.

Old unused PC could be a nice little closet too!

The same goes for speaker sets!

Also, get the wig you really like.

Otherwise, you will be spending more in the end by buying 2 or 3, before you get one that really suits you.

I’m in the process of growing my hair but it takes time.

I had longish hair a couple of years ago, and I got mistaken for a girl quite a lot.

At the time was not a compliment, so I got it cut.

It is sort of embarrassing when I’m being my male self, but I can live with it.

One day you’ll be so thankful for your girlish appearance!

You could have been a trannie with enormous feet a terrible beard and hair and muscle all over!

Would be so much more embarrassing in the end!

Stay girlish and cute, babe.

Is nobody’s business but yours in the end!

To be honest, since you cannot afford storage your best bet may be to find a friend who can help temporarily.

In terms of wigs, it depends on what you are going to use them for.

For example, if you are looking to go out, unless you are lucky with an eBay bargain, you will probably have to go towards £100+.

It’s all to do with the weave and how the cap fits on your head according to our local supplier and hairdresser.

The trouble with buying online is that it may not suit you once you try it on.

The wig itself may need some trimming to fit the shape of your face.

Being young it won’t matter as much.

However, at the end of the day, you get what you pay for in terms of how natural it looks.

Plus of course even if you do grow your own, you will still have to pay for a decent cut every now and again.

Hope this helps

I’ve had problems storing my stuff.

I ended up putting them in the bottom of the box my male clothes were in.

A pillow case may work

If not  just wear them under your male clothes on the day of the move

As for the hair, I’ve had 2 wigs, both cheap off eBay.

The first one I ‘trimmed (if u could call it that)

It lasted me about 7 months, used 2-5 times a week.

The second one I have is cheap one too,

This is only because I’m growing my hair now,.

As zee said, it will look better from your own head.

Hope this helps
