They are lighter than foundation and CC creams give good coverage.

I use Boots No7 Protect and Perfect CC cream.

Try to stay away from thick foundations – they contain a lot of powder which will make mature skin look dry.

A good lighter foundation is Estee Lauder Double Wear.

The Maybelline one you used is fine, too.

Apply concealer after your foundation if you have blemishes or dark circles under your eyes.

That way you can blend it in more easily.

Flash photography is tricky.

Use plenty of natural light if possible, or diffused light.
