“We all thought you were going to have a change, you know,” Susan was nursing a glass only a few sips from empty, “did you never think about it?”
“Quite a lot, when I was younger,” I was beginning to slur a little, “but I thought if I wanted to live as a woman, I would have known.”
“But you don’t really live as a man do you?” there was that solemn tone again,
“You haven’t raised a family, you don’t obsess about cars or sport, you’re not even that concerned about your career.”
