I’ve just got back from a couple of nights in Edinburgh* having flown pretty both ways. There was no agro in either airport, but the automated barrier at Heathrow didn’t like either my online boarding pass or my wig so had to queue at the assistance desk after which it behaved, so next time I think I will check in traditionally.

So the only question is where to next time and how do I manage with just a carry-on???

Because I figured that if they didn’t want to let me on the plane I could at least get the train
