It’s been 3 years since I last visited my hometown. It felt so odd, but I was happy that I could return after so long. I was in my Final Year of B.E. in Pune, when COVID-19 hit the country, and lockdown was imposed. I was stuck there! And haven’t seen my mom and sister in person for the past 3 years. I missed them so much. I always went home whenever I could find some holidays, like summer or Diwali, but for the past 2 years of my graduation, my mother told me not to come back and study for the final year exams. Then all of a sudden, the lockdown happened, and I was stuck there for another year. I wanted to surprise my family, thus I planned to get back 2 days earlier than they were expecting me.
