It doesn’t act permanently but does stop hair growth whilst being used. I doubt that you will get it prescribed but I thought that you would like to know that there are products that work. If you wanted to buy the product it would be possible although treating the beard area would likely cost between 30 – 50 pounds a month and for that cost, you could have laser treatments (chest would cost around £150 for a good system every two months) and you would need around six sessions. You could compromise and have a few laser/IPL sessions and then the hair could be waxed more easily. If you get problems post epilating I would suggest Tee Tree Lotion 5% twice or three times a day for as long as the spots are there.
