Stephanie sat in the nursery talking to the best friends she’s ever known inher life.
Both Stephanie and her friend talked of secret desires, and fantasies filled with, frilly dresses, panties, and diapers.
Playing with friends in a playpen, and Living a life few are lucky enough to see.
But there was a problem.
Stephanie heard a door open and looked behind her.
It turned out to be the wind.
Stephanie glanced back at her computer screen.
She was on the website she spent much of her time.
That was her girl time, at least.
In the real world, Stephanie spent her days and nights in.
Steph was known as seth.
Seth was a frightened little person, just out of highschool, and in community college.
Seth had few friends.
Much less than Stephanie did.
Not a single one of those friends really even saw the true Seth.
They knew an empty shell of a human,
A false vesel that survives day in and day out, the best way they can, with the conditions given.
A loud noise suddenly went off screaming.
Seth jumped and picked up a celluar phone, silencing it, and returning to his life as Stephanie.
The life he wishes to live in the real world, and gladly would have, had he not suffered from severe social anxiety disorder.
It’s one thing to go to school nervous and alone every day.
It’s another thing to live in a world reaching for happiness while others are staring and judging you.
The door opened, once again interrupting Stephanie and jolting Seth back to life.
It was Seth’s roommate, Sam.
Sam walked into the dorm room.
Seth quickly closed the top of the laptop before his roommate could see what was on the screen.
“sick eh? you look quite healthy to me… healthy enough to spend the day on the computer.”
Samantha shouts in a joking manner at a pale-skinned, baggy-eyed Seth.
“You knows I have the flu…” seth quietly responded shaking from shivers, in a pink suede blanket, that samantha made him wear when she awoke up for class.
Samantha made her way across the room placing her hand on Seth’s shoulder.
“you know I’m just playing,” she said, moving her hand from his shoulder to his hair, and messing it up a bit.
Seth just sighed and stood to see his friend staring back at him, with a gentle yet worried face.
Samantha was by far, Seth’s best friend.
The two became instant best friends the day they moved in together.
A strange coincidence, considering their personalities.
The two had little in common outside of taste in media.
Seth was a shy, and fragile artsy teen, with a disklike for society.
Samantha was a loud preppy girl, who seemed to fit in everywhere she went.
If there was one person who would ever truly know Stephanie, it was her.
“I’m sorry to cut this meet short but as we both know, I’m sick and exhausted…goodnight,” said Seth.
With this, Seth slowly stumbled into a bedroom.
“Goodnight.” Seth heard Samantha say, behind his back, in a soft and gentle voice.
How Seth wished and wished he and his roommate could be more than close friends.
Stephanie awoke in bed to see Sammy laying beside her, staring at her now open eyes.
The second thing she noticed was the matching babydoll nighties both her and sam were wearing.
It was at this moment that Sam pulled herself closer to steph and just lay there in her arms.
Stephanie heard a hissing noise, that she knew to be a cloth nappy being wet.
The problem was she felt nothing.
“you didn’t think you were the only one diapered.” giggled Samantha
“I know you really like me, as more than just a good friend. If I am to be honest, I feel the same way about you,” said Samantha.
“Buuuuuuuuut” replied Seth.
“Say nothing… just enjoy the moment …” replied Samantha/ before Steph could utter a single extra word.
“But there is one catch…” Samantha continued, leaning away from Steph for the first time since she lie beside her.
“You have to wake up…”
So Seth awoke to actually see Sam beside him, sleeping.
Had Sam whispered these things into Steph’s ear, only to play with her mind?
Did Sam really know all about Steph and her secret desires?
Or had it all been nothing more than a vivid dream, brought on by Seth’s own desires.
It was while pondering these thoughts.
Then Seth heard a rustling beside him, and Sam jolted upright.”
“I’m so sorry”, pleaded Sam as she jumped out of Seth’s bed. “I couldn’t be alone…”
A tear hovered in Sam’s left eye as she sat back down.
“It’s over…. between me and Kevin.”
Kevin was Sam’s boyfriend.
Having gone steady for the past four years, Seth wondered what could have happened.
He decided to ask Samantha
“I got off the phone with him a few hours ago. I cried as I’m sure you know.”
Seth noticed that Sam’s eyes were much redder than one tear in the making could produce.
“I just couldn’t be alone.”
As she finished the sentence, Sam broke down crying into Seth’s comforting shoulder.
Seth felt nothing but disgust at himself for having had such dreams about a girl looking for him for emotional comfort.
It became obvious his dream was nothing but his imagination.
Another week passed by, each day bringing sam back to her old chipper self.
In the week, Seth and Sam became much closer than ever before.
Seth had decided he was finally going to trust Sam with something he had never told anyone in his real world.
He was going to tell her about Stephanie.
“Sam… I have something I need to tell you. Something that has been bothering me for so long, and I know I can trust you…” Seth said, stammering a bit on every word, but not enough to distort it so Sam couldn’t understand.
“You know you can tell me anything. You’re my best friend and I love you.” Sam replied with a smile on her face, that showed that Seth’s trust in her was not in vain.
“There is no easy way to say this, so I’ll just be straight forward with it. I’m transgendered. I have been my entire life…”
Before Seth could even say anymore, Sam was hugging him to show her support.
“Oh my god, life must had been so hard for you, but why are you just telling me this now? I could have helped you so much…”
At this, Steph broke down into tears of joy and hugged Sam even closer.
He knew she finally had a friend she could truly rely on.
The two stood their for a while just enjoying one another’s embrace until Sam finally broke the silence.
“You know, I know it’s going to be hard, but you should really do something about this.”
Sam said with a look of seriousness that almost frightened Steph.
“Today’s Friday.
Tomorrow, if you want, I’ll bring you to Target, and we’ll get you a whole new set of clothes, some make-up, and everything, but only if you’re willing.
You’ll be pretty, but I won’t lie and say you’ll totally pass as a girl, but I’ll never let anyone hurt you…”
Seth sat there and thought for a while.
This was a huge step for him to become her.
Was he ready?
After about two minutes of thinking, she knew she was.
After all, anything is possible with the support of such a good friend.
“Thank you so much, I’d love to.” were Steph’s only words, before he fell back into her embrace.
