Miguel’s mummy stood at the end of the escalator waiting for her son to get home from school.

Joyfully she waved to him as she saw him come down.

Miguel looked more like a boy that was coming back from scout camp his hair long and still wearing shorts in the winter.

When he got to the bottom his mummy grabbed him and hugged him asked him where was your stuff?

He responded I checked everything.

She held his hand as they walk around towards the baggage carousel.

Up comes a duffle bag Miguel quickly makes a grab for it.

Miguel’s mummy looks at him and the disheveled clothing he is wearing.

When the second bag comes up from the carousel Patricia grabs it.

As they drive home Patricia quizzed him about how he was doing in school.

“How is your roommate?” She asks.

“My roommate is ok,” Miguel replied.

“He is weird,  but we get along”. he continued

Miguel’s mummy could tell something was not quite right as he appeared to be fidgetting in his seat

“Is there something that matters?” Miguel’s mummy enquired.

“Why do you ask?” Miguel replied

“Well its just that you seem very different”, explained Miguel’s mummy.

“Are you hungry?

How about you and I stop off at  McDonald’s?”

“Sure”, Miguel replies.

As the pair of them pull into McDonald’s Patricia asks Miguel what he would like to eat.

Miguel tells his mummy that he is not really that hungry and only wants a chicken nugget happy meal.

Miguel’s mummy looks at her son all confused as if he had just grown a second head.

“Really?” she asks.

“When did you start eating them”

Half an hour or so later the car pulled into the driveway of the family house.

Miguel jumped straight out of the car, grabbed his duffle coat and luggage, then quickly headed for the front door.

As soon as Miguel got into the house he run straight upstairs and disappeared.

After putting her bags down, and hanging the keys up on the ledge Patricia went to the home office to check her posts.

Patricia had been recently working from home as there had been a virus that infected her colleagues in the works office.

A while later, whilst Patrica was pursuing her posts Miguel popped his head around the door.

Mummy can I use the car please, I need to get a few things from the store.

“Yes you can Miguel however, please drive carefully, we do not want any accidents”, she replied.

As Miguel walked out of the front door and got into the car Patrica grew concerned.

She felt there was something wrong with her son, however, she could just not put her finger on it.

Patricia finished checking all her posts in her home office.

She decided now was as good a time as any to wash Miguel’s laundry.

Up she went into Miguel’s bedroom.

Once in his bedroom, she found his suitcase and pulled out all his clothing, all of which was in need of an urgent wash.

Patricia put all the clothing in the washing basket and then looked around for Miguel’s duffle coat.

Wondering where Miguel’s duffle coat is she looks in the big wooden wardrobe.

She unzips the duffle coat from the coat hanger and puts it in the basket.

Suddenly Patricia is startled by something else she discovers.

“What in heavens name is this?” she questions herself.

In the washing basket, she finds a bright pink item of clothing.

She pulls it out of the washing basket and finds she is holding up a sweet pink dress that only a toddler girl would wear.

As well as this she pulls out a few more items of what she can only describe as items for a large toddler.

One of these items is another dress with a frilly underskirt.

Now feeling somewhat daunted Patricia removes all the suspected items out of the laundry basket and duly lays them on Miguel’s bed.

Quite shocked she looks at the pulls up that only a toddler would wear, along with the diapers, bottles, bibs, and pacifier with “Mummy’s Sissy written on the front.

“What in heavens name is he doing with all this stuff?” Patrica thinks to herself.

By now Miguel’s Mummy is not very happy with what she has discovered.

She did not send her son off to college to play at being a baby, she sent him there to learn.

It is little wonder that he got put on academic probation, she continues to think aloud.

Eventually, Patricia calmed herself down a little and resigned herself to the fact of what she had discovered.

She decided to just wait and see what Miguel had to say for himself when he got home.

However, she thought again, it is better that I now wash all the clothing as they are beginning to smell.

Miguel’s mummy takes all his garments downstairs to the washing machine.

She starts to wash Miguel’s sissy baby items first.

When  Miguel’s mummy has finished washing these items she takes them back upstairs and put his diaper and pull-up in the top drawer along with his bibs and pacifier.

Miguel’s mummy is now seeing a different side to what she has discovered as she smiles to herself and giggled as she places the items in the top drawer.

After this, she decides to call her sister Muriel.

Muriel is a doctor.

Patricia very much hopes that Muriel will be able to shed some light on what has been discovered.

Muriel explains to Patricia that it is obvious that Miguel is some kind of infantilist who likes to age play as a baby girl.

She reminds Patricia that this is not the first time that Miguel has been caught playing these kinds of dress-up games.

Some time ago he was caught crossdressing whilst staying at his grandmother’s house when he was younger.

Patricia remembers this incident, however, at the time Miguel was a lot younger and she thought nothing of it.

“Well, I guess the ball is in your court Patricia,” Muriel told her.

“I can give you the name of a therapist to talk to if you want me to,” she continued.

“However, it is out of my practice.”

As Patricia hung up the phone Miguel walked in the front door.

With him, he was carrying a bag.

“What have you got there?” his mummy asked.

“Oh nothing,” he sheepishly replied.

With that Miguel run up the stairs.

Suddenly Patricia heard a yell coming from Miguel’s bedroom.

“Oh No!”

Patricia smiled to herself and continued doing the laundry and fixing dinner.

At Six o’clock Miguel’s mummy called up to him.

“Dinner is ready!”

“I am not Hungry”, came Miguel’s reply.

“I want you down here, this instant”, yelled Miguel’s mummy in a slightly angrier tone.

Eventually but slowly Miguel came down the stairs to face the music.

Very sheepishly he sat at the dinner table.

Miguel’s mummy handed him a Disney princess plate with a child-size portion of chicken nuggets on them.

These were the plates that Miguel’s mummy used when his younger cousin Gemma stayed with them.

Miguel pushed the food around his plate as a toddler would.

He told his mummy he was not very hungry.

Patricia told him that it was fine and he could be excused from the table.

However, she went on to tell him not to forget to hang his laundry up.

Patricia gave her son a deathly glare.

“I want everything hung up, young man, No hiding games with your clothing” she ordered.

Now resigned to the fate that his little secret had been discovered Miguel just meekly replied.

“Yes, Mummy.”

Miguel slowly traped upstairs and did not come down for the rest of the night.
