Myself and a friend had been sent out of chapel for sneezing and chewing gum during the service. well, i expected to be awaiting my fate in the school secretary’s office, as per norm at lunch break. I was very much mistaken. Miss Meads escorted the pair of us to the assembly hall.
sarah tried to talk her way out of it. I apologized. and then I was dealt with first. this time when I was made an example (quite rightly) I coped with it a lot better.
Mrs Mackenzie warned me that senior school would take a very dim view of such disrespectful conduct in their chapel.
She hoped that i would never have to find that out. thinking to myself I had a feeling that I would. but that as they say is another story.
