It was quite suprising how many boys–and not all juniors either–wet their beds at boarding school.
In my house alone there was probably half a dozen maybe but not one was ever caned.There was a deeper issue here that needed looking at,an issue that a caning was’nt going to cure–in fact,if anything,it would only have served to make things worse and there were certain boys that apparantly wet themselves before and during a caning but,of course not the same as bedwetting.
A caning might well have been the Housemasters answer to most things and,indeed was a guaranteed cure no question about it–but not bedwetting.
