My partner is 46 and has a fine White scar, about 3 or 4 cm on the far right side of the lower right buttock. This, 31 years after a school caning. There are also some faint White scars across the middle of the upper buttocks and one when a stroke must have gone astray on the lower back. The only clear scars are the first one mentioned and the one on the lower back. The others are only visible with very intimate perusal. But are there nevertheless. I asked about them, and my partner mentioned that the housemaster took pleasure in splitting his canes. Other than that, the topic is not open for conversation. I fear my lover has scars that run more than skin deep from that caning.
