I remember a couple of years ago looking out a window and seeing an incident of bullying. A large, powerful, sixth former (a rugby/rower) had knocked down a fourth form boy and hanging off his arm, trying to restrain him was one of our prefects who… let us say achieved his position through hard work, study and being a real teacher-pleaser – all 5’4″ and 110 pounds of him. By the time I got down there, the prefect had a cut above his eye, a streaming blood nose, and was in a generally upside down position half in a rubbish bin. And he was still holding that arm (the image, was, I confess slightly spoiled by the fact he was yelling, ‘stop or I’ll bite you’).
